yepps... the 'performance' was okay today... just that i had to play on a keyboard as the piano club ppl had to move to another room as other cca needed to use the piano club room... and this is another audition.... sign... hope i get in again... :)

okay... i got into piano ensemble... and... symphony orchestra... shocked right? especially the symphony orchestra part... since i didn't even sign up.... well... to tell the truth... i crashed their welcome tea party for the year 1s... that's how i got in... :P haha.. naughty me... yepps.. i'm in strings section... and i'm going to learn how to play the violin!!!! XD haha... very happy... had first lesson yesterday... learnt to hold the bow and violin... learnt to play the D and A string... (the middle two strings) haha... but here's the downside... cca is from 6 to 9pm... yepps... so i reached home at around 1015... but i feel that the sacrifice is worth it... since i'm doing something i'm interested in and something i enjoy... yepps... and i also have to prepare a song for piano ensemble tmr... to play in front of everyone i think... goodness... i'm like so scared and nervous... yeah... anyway... got to stop here... will update again... ps: getting my violin next monday... can't wait!!!!

went for cca today... and we had to go for an interview... *shock* i nearly died of a heart attack... i thought we needed to play a piece in front of everyone or something... but luckily, it's only an interview... the senior ask us questions like what is your name, class, school, course,grade? why did you join piano ensemble? what do you want to learn from joining piano ensemble? hmm... that's about all... and the room was quite nice too... there's 2 baby grands and 1 upright piano... at least it wasn't 2 old shabby upright pianos... haha... and the seniors said there's over 400 people queuing up for the interview.... wow... but when i looked... it's about 200? hmm... not sure... i didn't count... just had a quick glance... and i still don't know if I've gotten in... sigh... they say that you have to go check the notice board... and if your name's there... you're in.... I'm going to check next week i guess... since they need some time to collate and print everything.... omg.... I can't wait... it's gonna be an agonizing weekend ahead... O.o I hate being kept in suspense.... but then again... if I don't get in *touch wood* maybe i can join strings (if there's vacancies ( which is highly unlikely)) please... let me get in.... >.<

Hooray!!! it's finally the weekend!!! I so looove Fridays... went for club crawl today... and it was very noisy due to the speakers blasting really loud music.... and guess what i joined? piano ensemble!!! it was a really difficult choice... because i was quite tempted to join symphony orchestra too... but in the end... piano won hands down... so cca will be next Wednesday... :) that's about all...

Today is the first day of poly... and it was quite fun... the bus was not too crowded in the morning... had a seat... and stoned for the whole trip... reached school and met up with classmates... went for lessons... first lesson is maths for life science... and guess what did we do... FUNCTIONS!!!! it was damn s***... but fortunately i still remember this topic... had prac today as well... did some microscope things... stared at e coli with a microscope... had to draw them out and do a report... and I'm so not enjoying it... yepps... also got my lab coat and goggles... I LOVE LOOKING LIKE AN EVIL SCIENTIST!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! so here's a few highlights of the day... now, here comes the most gruesome part of my first day at school...

It happened on the bus... I was stoning as usual... and a fat man sat beside me. (I do not hold any grudges towards fat people. Most are very jovial and friendly, but there are some exceptions like this man) firstly, the man stinks. secondly, he keeps digging his nose. (please do this in the privacy of your own home!!!) thirdly, he flicks his nose dirt. (eeew!!!) fourthly, he bites his nails. (does it taste that good?) fifthly, he scratches his armpit every five minutes. (for god's sake!!!) yes, this is really the most gross/ disgusting/ gruesome/ revolting person I've ever seen... and i also hope it will be the last...

Yepps... this entry is for Saturday and Sunday... went to bazaar... very happy to see zx, natoz and jj... sigh... sweet sweet memories of yesterday... wish we could talk more... but the bazaar was too noisy and there was so little time.. but don't worry... we'll meet up in the june holidays... I've mid term break but not too sure abt the dates yet... so overall, the bazaar was quite fun except the weather wasn't really on our side... first, it was so damn hot in the morning... later, it started raining heavily in the afternoon... and most unluckily... me, my sis and my cousin got caught in the rain while going home... hmm.. that's about all for Saturday... now, for Sunday... went temple to pray... then went to eat desserts... it was pretty weird... a family of 5 eating desserts like burbur chacha, honeydew sago, walnut paste and sour sop thingy at 11 am in the late morning... later went home... and i just realised that i haven't sweep the floor this morning... haha... i shall just pretend that i didn't remember.... and poor cy (younger sis) who's having post bazaar sch hol tmr will be the one sweeping and mopping the floor in the morning while i happily go to poly... muahahahaha...

okay... today is damn crap... the printer is like dead and i need to print out something important.... secondly... i cannot access my email inbox!!!! this is infuriating!!! hopefully there is no thirdly to add to this list.... i think that my printer is the first printer in the world which can print white A4 size paper.... isn't it cooool?!?!?! i load white paper into the printer and the printer 'prints' in invisible ink.... amazing... i shall go burn the 'printed' matter and see if any messages from a secret alien race appears on it.... this is damn crap.... and did i say that this is a damn crap day?

okay... this is a little late... but i hope you guys won't mind... orientation was fun... we played interesting games like telematch and 'treasure hunt'... we also had tours around the school.... and then there's the usual cheering.... and various talks on topics such as the library, counselling services, ccas... etc.... all orientations are similar in one way or another.... there's also the usual exchange of e mails and phone numbers... hmmm... nothing much today.... so that's all...

okay... i have to finish this post in 2 mins... and i'd better hurry.... orientation was great but tiring.... made many new friends.... and i would describe my class as a wacky bunch.... nyp is HUGE.... i absolutely hate the loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg bus ride (1hr).... and my mum is telling me to go eat dinner NOW!!!! i shall ignore her.... okay just kidding....

okay... it's poly orientation tomorrow... and I'm so not looking forward to it... the very though of going to orientation makes me feel queasy.... sometimes i wish i could disappear when they are playing games in orientation.... and yes... i do not enjoy making a self introduction because there will be so many people and it is virtually impossible to remember all of their names... maybe you will remember the first few and those who are very... how to say... errr... rememberable... yes... not quite the word i wanted... but it'll do... but then again.... think of all the poor seniors who have to come back to school specially for us.... so I'll be nice and cooperate... hmm... i personally feel that the sole purpose of orientation is for recognising who are the people you can be friends with and who are the people who are off limits... in short bad influence... however... that is only my point of view... for other people... orientation= socializing time.... they will start picking out the potential popular people or cool people to hang out with.... and that is what spoils the whole thing.... i find it rather gross to see both males and females flirting with almost every member of the opposite gender.... and it's like.... HELLO?!?!?!?! we are here for orientation to know the school environment better and to know our peers better (but not in their way...) sheesh... i don't want to comment anymore.... i just hope that orientation is okay.... fun but not to the point that everyone is going WILD.... informative but not to point of boredom where our 'tour guide' reads off the paper in a monotonous voice.... haha... i guess I'm a big sucker for orientations....
