yepps.. went to watch prince of persia today with natoz, dennis and jiawei.... we wanted to watch shrek... but we all heard from our friends that it wasn't that nice... so we ended up catching prince instead.... it was unexpectedly good... alot of action.... and i bet they spent a bomb on the props... the ending was kind of stupid though... but it's better than the girl miraclously survived kind of ending...

went to eat at chicken bbq... some korean/western restaurant.... the food is not bad... and ohoh.. they had this tv showing all the korean mtvs... and me and natoz were like so distracted by the mtvs with the hot guys... >_<

went to walk around after that... got 'scammed' by this auntie.... she was working at some korean supermarket... and i think she took the reciepts that customers didn't want... she asked us to help her redeem it for movie tickets... at first we didn't know that she used the customers receipts... only when we agreed to help her, we looked closely and saw and realized... walao... she damn... bu lao shi (dishonest)... well.... natoz said she woke up today with a very noob feeling.... i guess this is the noob event... aioyh.. kena scammed...

well... quite fun lah... hearing dennis and jiawei talk about their army life and asking natoz about driving stuff... hahaha... we should meet up more next time.... a girls day out!!! zx must come too okay?

well... really quite tired out this week... slept at like 11 plus everyday because of a really really nice drama called: You're Beautiful / He's Beautiful... well... finished it last night... but ended up sleeping late again due to 'stalking' Jang Geun Suk... totally in love with his angelic smile... :) and damn.. he was in singapore... but i wasn't mad about you're beautiful during that time... so didn't really take notice of it... :(

*yawns* good night.. i will dream of JGS tonight... :)

sometimes, the smallest problems can really irritate you alot... one great example of it in my daily life is practising piano... this is my usual (boring) life:

6.15am - leave house for work/ attachment

~7.00pm - reach home from work/ attachment

7-8pm - shower, dinner...

8-9pm - piano time!!! this has been effing cancelled/ delayed for the past two days due to some idiot watching rubbish tv shows... such as channel 8 dramas and taiwanese variety shows... seriously effing bitch... when i told her nicely that i'm going to practice piano... she said: orh! and continued sitting there.. and i was like wtf? when i asked again, she just lowered the volume and said: you can practice now... argh!!! for fuck's sake... how the heck am i supposed to practice with your horrible taiwanese hosts laughing and making the crudest jokes in the world... and my mum just doesn't understand... when i tell her.. she says: tell your sister to go watch tv in my room lah!! and the next day when the same thing happens... i find not one but TWO stupid woman watching retarded rot your brains channel 8 dramas and laughing their heads off at the worse form of entertainment in the world... seriously... if you are going to bloody hell just lie to me and not do aything fucking thing about it... then don't give me any lip service... say say only and don't give a shit... i hate people like that... and i don't care even if you are my mother...

oh, i forgot to mention... you can cheekily tell me to just practice during weekends... but haven't you ever considered the tight spot you are putting me in? i can't practice in the morning because of people who always wake up in a bad mood... i doubt hearing scales over and over again in the morning would help improve their mood... afternoon... you are having your stupid afternoon nap... how the fuck am i supposed to practice?!?!?!?! you always become extra naggy when you never sleep well for your afternoon nap... and i don't want to hear your nagging... evening... the accursed tv set will be switched on again... this time by dad... and how could i deprive him of his tv? argh!!!! i hate you i hate you i hate you!!!! stupid family!!!

well... attachement as usual during the weekdays... was too tired to go strings.... well.. totally drained out... by the time i reach nyp, i'll be a walking zombie.... plus i won't have time for dinner... :(

okay.. went to ps on saturday.... met up with SJA... omg!!! i missed her so much!!! we had cake at sweet secrets... hehe.. and we talked and talked and talked.... dear me... SJA is stuck in a sticky dilema... hahaha.. just when i got out of mine... well... it's my turn to support her now i guess... hahaha... time passed by really really fast... and like we both felt like we wanted to talk more!!!! went to daiso, spent quite some time in there... just walking around... hahaha... i got 3 fans!!!! lol!!!! to fan the hot weather away... hahaha... now i have different fans for my different moods.... also went to erm... the headphones shop... i think it's called stereo or something... went gaga over all the pretty pretty headphones there.... they had this 'radioactive' one... this skull one... marvel comics one... and oh... i also saw bleach headphones at another shop... it was some anime shop i think... can't remember the names....

sunday was family day... treat my family to japanese food... omg.. i'm broke now... and went to buy groceries with the family... i got my horlicks malties!!!!! hahaha!! i love them!!! but i think i'm a weird person... because i hate drinking horlicks... it makes me want to puke... but i love eating the horlicks sweet... which is like... horlicks powder compressed into tablets.... hahaha...i also hate eating fresh rambutan, lychees, longans etc... but i don't mind eating the canned kind.... hahaha...

welll... busy at the lab as usual... kind of starting to enjoy labwork... haha.. like quite fun... everything is like a challenge... and i really want to do it and get the right results... sometimes, the results don't come out the way i want and i get really upset... but i take note of all the things that i did wrong and make it better the second time.. like casting agarose gel...

haha... the first few times i cast gel... will always have many small bubbles on the surface... and when they take photos of it... it will like affect the clarity of the results.... well... the small bubbles are caused by boiling of the agarose.... everytime i see the small bubbles appearing, i panic and stop microwaving the agarose.... but hahahaha... i have experience now!!!!

if it starts boiling (small bubbles appearing) just let it boil somemore.... when you microwave it longer, it will boil more vigoriously with big bubbles... but now the difference is that the big bubbles appear very fast and burst very fast as well... so you end up with a clear agarose liquid with no bubbles.... then add the EtBr inside, swirl to mix, and pour into the prepared erm.. casting equipment... haha... cast alot of gels this week... due to doing alot of CHIP and RT-PCR... so have to run the samples and stuff... also scraped alot of flasks this week... scrape until my hand like going to break... but... got this feeling of satisfaction..... haha... so i guess all the hard work is worth it....

hmm... like never do much western blot this week... aiyoh... but that day i saw eric harvesting the cells... he said it was for FACs and western... so i guess i will have to prepare a new membrane next week... aiyoh... still must prepare RIPA buffer, sonicate the cells, do protein assay to measure concentration, use prism programme to calculate amount of proteins needed for loading... prepare samples for loading, heat shock samples, cast sds gel, load samples, run gel, prepare membrane and filter paper, transfer proteins using transblot, stain membrane, block membrane, add primary antibody, incubate, wash, add secondary antibody, incubate, wash, add substrate, incubate, go dark room do exposure, develop film, get results.... phew!!!!!!!!!! very very long process.... haven't even go into details like washing cell pellet, spinning down, vortexing, etc.... still got to do side duties like prepare buffers, fill pipette tips etc.... so busy busy busy!!!! but i'm enjoying it!!!! :) omg... i will seriously be damn bored during lab practicals when i go back to school...

and yay!!! got a date later with cake and sarah!!!! XD

finished mr brain... like finally!!! since i couldn't finish it at one sitting due to work and cca commitments... the ending was so hilarious!!! haha.. i hope there will be a sequel... there better be one... also finished karei naru ichizoku... it's seriously... a very adult drama.. with all the politics and dark secrets.. i always hated this kind of shows as they are so depressing and draggy.... but this one was unexpectedly good... and Takuya Kimura's acting went up several notches in this.. he really potrayed his character teppei manpyo really well... two thumbs up!!! but the ending was really sad and i ended up crying buckets in the last episode... damn.. i hate these depressive dramas with zero humor and zero romance... but...i still end up watching them anyway... i don't know why... maybe i just want to find a reason to cry, to see if i'm still human.... well... i guess i shall go back to watching my romcom kind of dramas now... for now... i shall try my best to finish the wallflower... but the original manga is rather screwed up (too much chibi drawings.. it irritates me).... and the anime was obviously low budget and *coughs* it totally went off from the manga storyline... well.. watched the first episode.. was not too impressed with the cast and the additional character of the landlady's son... (i hate it when they add in random new characters to the story!!!) but they obviously had high budget for this... so yeah... i shall continue watching it... *crosses fingers* i hope it doesn't disappoint me like the manga and anime...

well... animewise... like nothing too exciting... currently watching fma:brotherhood, fairy tail, bleach, kaichou wa maid sama, hakuouki.... fma is ending in two months... the last episode will be episode 63.. omg... and i'm waiting for chapter 107 to come out!!! 2nd last chapter!! omg!!! it better be good... no.. it will be good!!! it's Arakawa sensei!! :)

bleach is back on schedule... like finally!! the sword fiends arc was getting very boring...

fairy tail and maid sama like following storyline... so yeah... pretty much predictable...

hakuouki is following storyline as well (i think..) but can they seriously finish the story with 12 or 13 episodes? they are like at the 5th episode now and i don't see much progression in the stoyline yet... oh gawd.... i hope they are not thinking of pulling a vampire knight and have like 12 episodes season 1... and 12 episodes season 2... that kind of thing... argh!!! irritating!!!

well.. forget about all these for now... waiting for july.... nuramago and kuroshitsuji II will be out then... :) and i'm still waiting for skip beat season 2 to come out soon... hopefully sometime this year... please please!!! season 2!!!!!

I'm currently watching MR BRAIN.. this J drama starring my favourite Takuya Kimura... XD the hotness!!! he was howl's voice!!! XD and ohoh!!! I laughed out loud at one scene when they put an eppendorf tube into the centrifuge... because they DID NOT BALANCE the centrifuge.... urgh... being in the science field makes watching sci-fic very... annoying.. because some things they do on tv are just plain wrong.... i.e. very bad lab practices....

ohoh... i have to go watch episode 2 now!!! GACKT is a guest star!!! XD kyaaaaaaa!!! the dream team!!! Takuya Kimura and GACKT acting side by side... XD
