so... 2009 is coming to an end... so here's a super duper long never ending post to end this year!!!


20th December 2009 [12 days to 2010]
drive down to genting... as usual, the trip was long... and i started to feel claustrophobic halfway... my legs felt like kicking the seat in front of me (that's equivalent to kicking my mum)
driving up the mountain was okay for me since i don't get motion sickness... but... the change in pressure caused great discomfort to my ears... owww.... had pizza hut...



21st December 2009 [11 days to 2010]
had a horrible night... youngest sister's noisy breathing (whistling/ honking sound) and dad's snores are not helping... not to mention, sharing a bed and snatching blanket from my other sister.... did not feel like playing any rides this year... i would normally go sit all the roller coasters... but this year like.. no kick... not to mention, alot of the roller coasters are not running.... spent the day shopping and eating... i love the chinese restaurant at the casino there... can't remember the name though...



22nd December 2009 [10 days to 2010]
took shutter bus down to KL... shopped more... bought a pair of nike shoes... yay!! took shuttle bus back up to genting again... ate dinner at the chinese restaurant again... had mango pudding for dessert... :) dessert is the best part of the meal!!



23rd December 2009 [9 days to 2010]
packed luggage... drove down to malacca... the hotel was beautiful... ate some famous chicken rice ball stall... ate alot of chendol... chendol is damn fattening.. but it's damn nice... :) shopped a little.... cut my hair.. yay!!



24th December 2009 [8 days to 2010]
shopped some more.... went for the christmas eve buffet at the hotel... the restaurant was decorated with the usual christmas holly and mistletoe... the funny part was the red, green and yellow balloons floating around... i think the yellow balloons were meant to be gold... but gold balloons are hard to find.. so they ended up with these erm.. floating traffic light colours...
there was also a candle at our table with they lighted.... but for some unknown reason... the candle at our table burned extra fast and brightly... for a moment there, it felt as if the flames would leap onto the table cloth.... the waiter noticed this and removed the candle... so, we got a new candle which was also as hazardous as the first... after which, the waiter took away our second candle... i was hoping for a third candle... unfortunately, it never came... *sniffs* ate a raw oyster for the first time in my life... tasted like... oyster... haha... and the lemon did help a little in covering up the fishy smell.... my sister complained that there was something hard and i told her it's a pearl... she did not find it funny.... ate turkey, chicken, roast potatoes, fish, prawns, pasta, and alot other stuff... finally... it was time for my favourite course: DESSERT!! ate like 5 or 6 types of cake.... and had christmas mince pie and cookies.... and i have decided that i love macaroons.... had some jelly too.. oh... it's a really wonderful day!!! all the desserts!!! I LOVE DESSERTS!!!! XD



25th December 2009 [7 days to 2010]
packed up, went home to singapore... the trip was alright.. just listened to music and stoned.....
HOME SWEET HOME!!! had the best sleep in a week!!! a whole bed to myself and no one to kick me/ steal my blankets!!! best of all, the silence!!! not whistling/ honking sounds and snoring!!!



26th December 2009 [ 6 days to 2010]
no piano lessons... basically rotted at home...



27th December 2009 [5 days to 2010]
visited grandma... met cousins and their kids.. talked alot...
went onboard the singapore flyer after that!!! woohoo!!! it was kind of boring though...



28th December 2009 [4 days to 2010]
went to a polyclinic for the first time...



29th December 2009 [3 days to 2010]
outing with natalie, zheng xiang, jia wei, dennis, jia jie, desmond... watched sherlock holmes... it was nice.. but somehow the real sherlock holmes is not like the one portrayed in the movie... went to natalie's house.. played bridge and laughed at people's fb pictures... and jia wei was the ace king... (inside joke)

strings practice!!! haven't seen you guys for ages!!! pizza party!!!! damn... now i'm afraid to step on the weighing scale... i think i gained alot of weight in the past 2 weeks...

yes yes... i'm supposed to be studying.. but just a short one....
bioinfo and marketing was okay i guess... but i lost 10 marks for bioinfo because i got so stressed out and kind of messed up my calculations for the scoring thingy.... marketing was okay... not too bad.... studied with sarah, atikah, him gee, rashila... and due to some unknown reason.... AIDA had a totally new meaning.... haha.. and yes.. i was the one who started it... marketing is all about love... (inside joke... lol...)

so.. medical microbiology was total shit today... the most unexpected questions appeared... and why didn't pathogenesis for AIDs come out?!?!?!?! how come some treatment for AIDS came out instead!!!! RAWR!!! nearly screamed at the exam paper.... and the question of matching the bacteria species to their features was also bad... i mean... bacteria are so... so.... versatile.... wait.. that's not the word... but what i'm trying to say is that they are almost all the frigging same!!!!! just that their key features are like mix and match all different...
they have these few key features:
gram staining (positive/negative)
produce endospores?
presence of capsule?
shape? rod? cocci? spiral?
motility?
respiration? anaerobic? aerobic?

stupid bacteria should just die!!!
use dettol!! alcohol!!! or just burn them!!!!

okay.. so... there's protein tech tomorrow... another killer paper... 50 mcq in 1 hour... and it's partially open book... i don't know if being an open book paper makes it worth celebrating because the content is like frigging heavy... i can already imagine flipping through countless notes and trying to find the answer for one mcq....

ohoh!!! 2 more papers!!! just 2 more papers and i will be free!!! (from exams but not reports, and projects due when school reopens)

not really looking forward to the malaysia trip now... because i will most likely be thinking about the stupid reports and projects during the trip... argh!!!! this stress is killing me!!!!!!!

and mum said i can learn driving... i'm happy but also pissed off with her... i'm so damn busy now and she tells me i can learn now? (where got time?) i ask her to let me learn earlier because i know i would be very busy in year 2 and she said no... so how am i going to learn now? argh!!! parents!!!!! always give replies too fast (without considering at all) or too slow (after thinking over it for a loooooong time)

seriously stressed out... i want 48 hours a day!!!!

well... i guess bioprocess technology (bpt) was okay... it's like the "i know i passed but won't get A feeling..." i guess i procrastinated too much... i was still happily watching youtube videos on Saturday.... and i was happily playing rubbish songs or my own compositions on the piano.... and when i did end up studying... i would find myself going to the kitchen to get water, going toilet to pee, or just stone-ing at the same page for like... 3 hours.... or even better: twirling my hair and just... twirling my hair and not doing anything else... dunno.... it keeps me like entertained for hours... i twirl my hair when i can't sleep... or when i'm bored.. or when i'm deep in thought... pity i can't twirl my hair and play piano... though that would seriously be scary....

and ohoh!! it was so fun to study bpt... because there's the SEBASTIAN MICHAELIS EQUATION... okay.. joking.. it was more of Michaelis-Menten equation.... lol.... but that alone made me a little more motivated to study bpt.... :)

okay... got to go study bioinfomatics and marketing now... got two papers tomorrow.. and both are the modules i dislike/ can't understand the most.. okay.. maybe only for bioinfo.. marketing is not that horrible....

WARNING!!! RANT BELOW!!!

saw the IDIOTIC couple today... note the emphasis on IDIOTIC....

those two idiots closed the lift door in my face the last time i saw them... and they seemed so pissed off with me when i pressed the open button and went into the same lift as them... i mean.. seriously... i live in this condo too... and i also pay my maintenance fees... so i have the right to take the lift at anytime i want regardless of anyone inside who was planning to make out in the lift... the scandalized looks they gave me was like just so idiotic.... hello?!?!? I'm just a girl who is so exhausted after school and wants to get home asap after school... and you two just can't keep your hands off each other even if it's just for like 10 seconds in the lift? argh!!! so dumb!!! and did i mention that the building is only 8 storeys high? like wtf? if you want to get passionate, go home, or just get a room in a HOTEL... there are like, plenty around this area... and please lah.. like i want to watch you two being passionate... it's a waste of my time...

so today.. i walked ahead of them and closed the door in their face... sweet! (:

and on the 20th i'll be going to malaysia... will be back on the 25th... (x'mas!!)
and dammit.. just realized that this means that i have to miss strings practice!!! argh!!! so irritating!!!!
and i will also have less time to do marketing, medmic and immuno project!!! wait... protein tech too... SHIT!!!

Yay!!!! The concert was great!!!! But I somehow felt a great sense of loss because I wasn't playing... I mean.. Watching is fun.... But nothing beats being up there.... haha...

and yes!!! finally met up with natoz and zx!!!! missed them so much!!! we talked alot and took quite a number of photos... but they are on facebook already.. so i'm not going to upoad them here...

okay.. so.... that was for yesterday....

for today... had some clean and green event.... so we are supposed to play like 15 minutes worth of songs at city square mall.. and i swear.. it was the worst performance of my life.... shall stop talking about it now....

so after that... went back to school to put instruments and went to esplanade library after that.... also watched some jazz band with people singing and doing their sound check.... got into deep thinking mode while listening to the songs... why are songs always about love? hmmm... sat there and stoned for quite some time until i got distracted by some sparrows...

so yeah... the songs were not bad... and the lyrics were like yeah.... dumb.. i got irritated.. it's like... i don't know.. so near yet so far.... just within my grasp yet unreachable.... kind of thing and it kind of reflects my situation now....

I don't know what went wrong... maybe it was just a mistake.... a very stupid one... the same one as the past... falling in love with an idiot is so... idiotic.... the sheer irony of it all...

I should stop moping around and start studying for COMMON TESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yay!!! i cooked dinner yesterday... just simple stuff like stir fried veggies, sausages and miso soup... the veggies were a little overcooked though... but it was kind of fun cooking especially without my youngest sister being super irritating and acting like a know-it-all... and the worst part is that she is not that great at cooking either and she's just acting smart....
