yepps.. movie outing with natoz, jiawei and dennis...

so funny lah!! i was going to 'catch' natoz on the train.. and when i walked into the train, someone said: Yilin!!! and i turned around and saw dennis... hahaha!!! it turns out that dennis and natoz were in the same train.... natoz appeared later saying she was in the next carriage.. hahaha!! coincidence? hehehe... who knows... ;)

went to get the tickets and walked around... we met jia wei on the escalator... except we were going up and he was going down 'beside' us... hahaha!!! damn funny lah!!! it's a day full of surprises... :)

watched how to train your dragon... and omg!! toothless is super cute!!! i want to adopt him (or her)!!!! hahaha!! went to eat carl's junior after the movie... went to carrefour and saw jiawei and dennis buying like so much chocolates and snacks... haha... i think they are really stressed out and deprived in camp... surprisingly did not buy anything except for some snacks from daiso to bring into the cinema (shhhhhh!!!!)

yeah... basically that's it.. haha.. had a hearty discussion with them about university applications and army life and other random stuff... haha.. it was fun meeting up after such a long time... :)

zx didn't join us to day though... kind of miss having her around... :(

we must organize more weekend movie outings in the future!!! and zx please join us!!! :D

i'm so tired!!! my feet are dying!!! i'm really happy to have my favourite food for dinner today!!! fried 'nian gao'+ sweet potato + yam.... :D

6th day!! i'm surviving!!! learnt about cloning today!!! phew!!! very very long steps.. but kind of got used to it already... went for cca... thoughts all jumbled up... hate is the main feeling... a great feeling of disgust and loathe for that person...

argh... i'm really not motivated any more... everyone there are all dating... they all have someone to look forward to... for me.. i'm still determined not to go into this dating thing.... ever since 'that' happened... so i just try to avoid two people...

one is out of awkwardness....

the other is simply out of disgust (please don't pollute the air near me thank you!!! and don't make me blind by standing within viewing range of me!!! )

and i can't really talk to people who i used to talk to anymore... since they are all busy with other commitments... so yeah... it's back to being alone..

went plaza sing today with my darling... watched professor layton and the eternal diva.. hmmm... not bad movie... had some funny parts and one touching scene.. both darling and me were like tearing a little at that part...

went to walk around after the movie... went to see the otaku shops there... spent some time at looking at the cosplay swords and sword replicas shop... i didn't know that ichigo's zangetsu was that tall... i mean.. it was taller than me when i stood beside it... well... we were just oogling at the swords... so pretty... :) but we are poor students.. so can't buy any... plus my mom would so kill me if i ever bought one...

went down to orchard after that... went to kinokuniya and walked around... darling managed to find the artbooks she was looking for... :) and i found KUROSHITSUJI BOOK 1 IN ENGLISH!!!!! omg!!! i screamed happily and grabbed the book when i saw it... but to my horror... it cost 18 dollars.. i was like what the heck? okay, forget it... well.. i shall just stare at my kuroshitsuji artbook that my darling got for me from japan... :) wandered around ion orchard just window shopping and stuff... and oh... i got a tote bag from one of those push cart stores since my other bags like all going to break (erm... due to me abusing them by putting alot of things inside...) continued to wander around... took some pics and then went home..

while waiting for the bus... we started this really interesting topic on which anime guy will we date if he really existed... in the end... we both decided that hei from darker than black and renji from bleach are the top two candidates... hei because he is so cute as in blur when in non assassin mode... like the boy next door kind of feeling... renji since he has that bad ass hotness/ personality and that stupid, sweet and protective personality... sebastian got eliminated since he was too perfect and so kind of unreal...

well.. it was a tiring day i guess... next week meeting up with natoz, zx, and dennis they all... i guess i have to start saving.. if not no money to go out... :(

okay... everyone in the lab was in a good mood yesterday.. maybe because it's friday!!! hahaha!! did western blot again.. well... it was fun... went back to school for strings... the train was damn packed... haha... well... didn't really play much though... also thinking if i should commit to playing for chamber orchestra... well... i'm still thinking.. left early... went to eat dinner at macs with weoi min and song zhi... then went home... showered, read percy jackson 4th book (like finally!!!) and went off to sleep halfway due to exhaustion... woke up to find that it is already 10am... ate breakfast and continued the book this morning and yay!!! finally completed it.. now waiting fo my sister to get the 5th book... sigh!! i should have watched the movie!!! i heard it is good!!! well... will get the dvd when it comes out... going to orchard with my darling tomorrow!! yay!!! so excited!!! we're going to watch how to train your dragon!!! hahaha!! looking forward to tomorrow... :)

i did western blot myself today!! well.. kind of... haha... did the wetting memebrane, stripping memebrane, washing, incubating with primary antibodies, washing, incubate with secondary antibodies, washing, put substrate, go dark room do do the x ray film thingy... phew!!!! also cast gel today... yay!!! i successfully made 'agar agar'!!!! :) but too bad it's not edible... hahahaha!!!

it's getting quite interesting now since i'm starting to hear from my classmates their experiences at attachment... well... one complained that it is damn boring... another said they never want to see an excel document ever again.... another said: i'm sick og pressing ctrl+c and ctrl+v... others are stuff like: oh we clean centrifuges and scraped ice off the fridges... hahaha.. we should compile all these into a book... so funny!!!

I am exhausted... my feet are dead... standing for the whole day... standing on the train to work... standing in the lab and running around to different places to use different equipment... standing during the train trip back... omg... it's like working at mini toons again... well.. also kind of good though... since i'm somewhat used to the pain already...

so reached home.. showered.. ate dinner... practiced piano... used com... and now... GOOD NIGHT!!!!!

well... had safety talk AGAIN.... haha... 2.5 hours long... walked around to see the emergency exits and stuff as well... collected labcoats... went for lunch... food there is alright i guess.. but it's like school food just that more expensive.... went for lab tour/ orientation after that.. the lab was a little cluttered... but it was okay... the people there are quite friendly as well... went through western blot protocols... (hello western blot!! you're going to be my best friend for the next 6 months!!! ^_^)

went home after that... hope i still remember everything the next day...

fma 105 is out.. but i'm too tired to get excited/ hyper/ fangirl over it... i was like silent anticipation.... yay!! it seems they might have a happy ending still... since everyone came back to life again... and 'father' can just go screw himself and die... bradley is dead now.. so homonculus count is currently: lust gluttony greed sloth wrath pride envy oh.. 3 left... one who 'betrayed' 'father', one retarded one, and one face flaking off and also like going to die soon... yes... the ending better be good..

went to watch nodame with fiona, sakura and yan ling... sarah didn't turn up... but nevermind about that...

in short... it was great!! seeing chiaki on such a big screen!!! XD

but... a wee bit disapointed by the movie... they left out some of the funny bits in the manga/ anime... they should not have left out the nissan toyota name joke... maybe i shouldn't have read the manga and watch the anime...

but other than that... it was epic!!! nodame's antics!!! the music!!! one should never belittle the magic of the great masters!!!

and chiaki is getting so thin to the point of looking frail... *heartpain*

went to all those otaku shops at plaza sing and went crazy!!! also dropped by at pan in a box.... ^_^

overall quite a fun filled fangirling kyaa-ing day... we should have more of these outings... just fangirl the whole day!!! :)

well... how do i put this... i was watching episode 47 of fma brotherhood... and i realized that they are at the day before the promised day in the anime... which means...

well... it's a pretty big blow to me... i was like... huh? it's going to end??? shit shit!!! *goes off to check which chapter are they at*

yes.. they have already covered chapter 86 in the manga... i laughed out loud when i happened to see the page where gluttony appeared and lunged towards edward & co and chomped on this tree... hahaha... it's like, the exact same scene from the anime... bleh... what am i saying?!?!? the anime IS adapted from the manga anyway...

yes... seeing your favourite manga end right before your very eyes is rather distressing... well... for me at least... because it's like watching someone die slowly... one of the bright sparks in my life is dimming.... *sniffs*

now waiting for chapter 105 of the manga to come out... dying of anticiptipation.... please please let it end well... i hate the emtpy feeling and the "this is it? i wasted my time!" thoughts when the ending is crappy...

the only manga that make me so fired up are fma and skip beat... fairy tail, nurarihyon maybe occasionally... bleach.... well... i'm kind of tired of them dddddrrrrrrrraaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnngggggggggg it out... you know what i mean....

maid sama was unexpectedly... nice... partly because it was quite fast paced... the relationships between characters are quite fast... compared to *cough* ouran *cough*

gosh... i really have no life... sleep, anime/ manga... sleep, anime/ manga...

damn... one more week of anime and manga until attachment... well.. i shall make the most of it... i must finish hitman reborn by today!!! spent the whole of yesterday reading maid sama... haha... well... dunno.. it's a hobby... a hobby... :)

yes.. a lot happened this week... study related stuff like marketing paper... molecular genetics paper... protein tech paper.. haha.. and also health related stuff like fainting... manga/ anime related stuff.. woah.. seriously... the good chapter scome out during exams... like *spoiler* yama-jiji getting pwned by aizen in bleach.... *spoiler*

marketing paper was alright.. haha.. like finally!!! i got the hang of it... I rememeber marketing in semester 1 as a nightmare... haha.. but now like got used to it.. so yeah.. survivable...

molecular genetics... seriously no comment... except for the fact that i fainted in the toilet in the morning at home.... the cause is unknown... but i'm guessing it's a combination of low blood pressure, lack of sleep, and stress... luckily it was a 12.30-2.30om paper... so still managed to make it on time.... the evils of molgen... make people faint in the morning.. haha...

protein tech paper... well.. i wouldn't exactly call it a breeze... since the first question takes 1 hour to do... but yeah.. the questions can be answered.. well.. most of them... haha... ate two lunches today.... the first one after protein tech paper... and the second when i was at tampines with nat and zx... and i didn't eat two lunches because i was hungry or greedy or just because the food is yummy... i was just damn scared that i would faint again... fainting is a horrible experience... it's not like the movies where the girl faints and the guy catches her... and the girl can faint until like damn relaxed like that... it's not relaxing to faint... there's the dizziness, the pressure in your ears... the dimming of your vision.. it's like... dying i guess... slowly losing your sight and hearing... and the only thing that never fails to catch you in reality is the floor i guess... i was lucky... at least i didn't hit my head on the toilet bowl or anything... and no.. i was not naked when i fainted... i was going to brush my teeth... argh... the stupid questions people ask....

yay.. and went to tampines with my dears today.. missed them so much... and we are so going to get all those sexy heels at charles and keith... the really sexy 4 inch heels... *nosebleeds*

haha.. time really flies... when we were younger (omg.. we are OLD!!!) we were looking at OP and stuff... now it's like faceshop, charles and keith etc... oh the joys of shopping... it's almost as thrilling as manga and anime...

and i overspent again... dammit...

and i got mx her birthday present.. got guitar picks for putty too... and whole bunch of other random stuff for myself...

and yes yes!!!! nodame movie date on the 12th!!! <3
