COMMON TESTS ARE COMING SOON!!! argh... i know I'm so screwed.... I've to go for extra practice on thursday.... because of the conductor... blah blah... i shall not go into details...... it will be too tedious for everyone... :(
(the ranting part... you can just skip this...)
so.... at first.. i wanted to skip cca.... so i could have a few more precious hours of study and sleep... i still can't stand that fact that will reach home so bloody late and have only 5+ hours of sleep because lesson starts early the next day and it takes approximately 1.5 hours to travel to school.... including waiting for bus/ train/ walking to the lecture hall/ lab.... not to mention.. there is IT for life sciences on Monday and i have to lug that stupid bomb case of a viola and my stupid boulder of a laptop to school... and i swear... everyone on the bus/ mrt is just edging away from me when they see this 'terrorist' with a huge, suspicious looking case that will blow up in their faces.... (die everyone!!! muahahahaha!!!) okay.... so next topic.... it's study week and i have to go for 3 cca practices instead of 2 and argh.... i still can't play yao, Orpheus and rhapsody properly..... the bowing will be all wrong.... the notes will not be in tune.. argh... i want my darling vivi back..... or maybe i should have quit string ensemble instead and continue to stay in piano... argh.. but forget it... it's all in the past.... the past can only haunt you to remind you not to make the same bloody mistake..... and yes... mistakes... argh... can't believe I'm so stupid... argh.... i don't want to talk about it.. it's another long complicated story that happened half a year ago... lalala.... yes... i will survive.... i will get 3.5 gpa.... lalala... this is so lying to myself.. but i don't care anymore..... I'll survive.... the performance will be a success.... the audience will love us.... I'll go work in the hols and get some money to get things that i always wanted.... I'll practice my piano everyday.... especially scales and exam pieces.... I'll play on lala until the rosin erodes away the strings..... I'll also practice vibrato on vivi.... I'll be an all rounder... lalalala...
okay.... i'm done with my rant.... you guys don't have to understand it... it's a rant.... yes.. just a rant.... ah.. i feel so much better now.... since all that crap stress is in the rant..... and i'm really really sorry for all the horrible posts lately.... but i'll guarantee happier posts after the exams.... stuff like JPNYZ outings and funny stuff that happened at home... come to think of it.... home only seems like a place to bath and sleep after going to poly..... o_o the long hours are taking its toll.....
yay!!! i'm back!!! haha.. this blog is almost dead lah... wake up!! wake up!!! quick!!! someone!!! give the kiss of death.. oops... i meant life... hahaha.... yepps.. nothing much lately.. just that there will be alot of stuff going on for the next few months.... firstly.. it's the symphony orchestra performance... on jan 18th.. at the esplanade... with i think.. 9 songs to play.... yes.. i know.. my gpa is so screwed.... secondly... there's common tests... thirdly... projects!!!! biochem!!! microb blog thingy... etc.. and last but not least... piano exams!!! argh!!! i'm not a super woman okay... how to survive?!?!?!? ah well.. nvm about that... i think i'll survive.... anyways.... i love inuyasha!!! haha!!! okay... sorry about that.... ;)

yay!! okay!!! nothing much this week except that i'm now playing the viola instead of the violin... so i'll be playing lala at the jan 18th performance... and yes!!! i finally got the vids from angie.. so here they are... i'm not playing these songs... it's by the seniors... haha.. and yeah.. quite sad.. i can't find any vids of me playing.. because my sisters they all never record!!! but well.. we'll have to make do with it... :D

okay.. a quick one... did biochem report this morning.... went to popular book fair at suntec in the afternoon... the whole thing sucks.... because all the books were like at normal prices or maybe even more expensive.... the books on offer are like the old editions and other dead stock that they are trying to get rid off... eg: artermis fowl series, a hard cover edition that i have never seen before selling at $6.90.... when i flipped open the book.. it was like... quite old... and smelt a little musty... argh... yes... it's only a book fair because they put almost all their stock there.... and the only good things that we nabbed were music books... bach's 12 preludes and chopin's nocturnes... it was very very cheap.... bach's 12 preludes cost around $20... and chopin's nocturnes (all of them...) were like only $11.60.... they are really really cheap!!! but ah well... i can't play most of them yet... hehe..... i just happened to be flipping through them randomly at home in the evening and saw 7 sharps in a song... yes... and what major is that? er.. i dunno be cause i only learnt until F# major which has 6 sharps... haha.. i feel so stupid now... should have just gotten the scores from online instead... because they are free and you only have to print them out... haha... but still... nothing beats having a real score book...

well... pam was sick and didn't come school.. so it was pretty boring without her usual noise.. went home super early as there was no violin... woohoo!!!
thursday:
pam is back!!! haha!!! and yeah... we spent some time in the library using our lappy and just listening to music, watching mvs and wasting time... did a bit of biochem report... had the cell bio lecture... and we ended early.... haha.. so happy... and yes... i have to stop slacking and start doing the cell bio epracticals!!!!
friday:
best day of the week... only 2 hours of lessons.... but those two hours of lessons are also the worse thing that happened in the week.... because it is like so bloody difficult to understand..... argh... organic chemistry.... and whatever curly arrow.... nucleophiles... blahs.... argh!!! i don't get it!!! anyway.. changed blog skin too.. inuyasha rocks!!! (yes.. it's kind of outdated.. but who cares... as long as i'm happy...)
saturday:
just watching inuyasha, doing biochem report and stoning at home... finally can touch the piano.... practised scales until got blister on both thumbs... (i still wonder how it happened...) and i didn't even realise it until piano lesson in the afternoon... i was like playing my exam pieces and flinching every time i use my thumb... i thought i had a splinter in my thumb until i realized that both thumbs hurt.. so it can't be a splinter... so rubbish.... argh....
sunday:
okay.. totally rubbish as well... went to j8 to get groceries.... went to maternal grandmother's house.... went to thomsan plaza... got putty's birthday cake.... went home.... listened to inuyasha ost.... stared at inuyasha's pictures..... suddenly remembered that there was orgchem tutorial to do.... went to take the tutorial questions and foolscap paper.... stared at the questions.... big sweat drop drips on the paper..........
after 1hour......
foolscap paper is full of scribbles.... only 1% of the questions are answered correctly... the rest just have some crap/ blank crap written beside it.... totally gave up... went to eat dinner.... ate the cake.... went back to room.... stared at the question paper some more.... feel like crushing up the notes and stuffing them into my mouth like how they always do it in manga/ anime.... used the lappy hoping to get some answers from internet.... sad to say it was hopeless... because search results gave crap like book reviews from some stupid textbooks and other sites from chemical companies trying to sell their stuff.... argh... this sucks.... *takes deep breath* THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!
ah... feel so much better... okay... i'm going to bed now... so i will have enough energy to lug lappy, lappy's cables, vivi and lab coat around for the whole day starting from 6.30am when i leave the house and 10.30pm when i reach home.....
hello bloggie... just a random post... yes.. school is as usual... and there's no violin this week.. so it's like super relaxing... (:
anyway.. it was putty's birthday yesterday... so happy belated birthday putty!!! and sorry that everyone forgot about your birthday... because everyone is too busy... so you poor thing... no cake on your birthday.. but never mind... i got you a present today.. so cheer up okay... don't be black faced everyday okay? don't get us into trouble because of your bad temper okay? and i don't want to come home and hear mummy shouting so angrily at you like yesterday... okay? yes... be more mature.. you're twelve!!! haha...
yes.. so now back to today...
had school.. it was boring.. 5 hours straight of lectures and later 2 hours of lab.... went home.. ate dinner.. practiced violin... legend of yao is so hard... especially the C,E,C,E... C,D,C,D... B,D,B,D.... part.... and i keep on singing the C,E,C,E... part to myself hoping that it would help in memorising the notes and getting the 'nice' violin sound without any weird scratching sounds.... so i happily sang C,E,C,E,C,E,C,E to myself for a very long time until i realised that i sounded like i was singing "xi yi xi yi" (wash clothes wash clothes in chinese..) after that.. i laughed very randomly to myself... haiz.. play violin until siao ready... haha... the C,E,C,E part is still playing in my head and i can't help but laugh to myself again... argh... i'm going mad...
had violin concert yesterday.... it was really painful, (blisters because of the court shoes) nerve wrecking, (hiding in the backstage waiting for the emcees to cue us to walk onto the stage) and yes, enriching..... haha... the best part was the performance.... because everything was like.... erm.... dunno.... very quiet.... very peaceful... very dark... (yes!!!! i love the auditorium!!!! the audience are like totally cloaked in darkness and we can't even see their faces!!!) and it was like... it's the performance now... i'm going to play the best i can... and the songs were like.... very fast or something because it seemed like i was on stage for only 5 seconds...... haha.. but yeah.. all the effort was worth it... (:
now.. let's go back to the pre concert preparations.... so... we went to the strings room at 1pm... moved to the auditorium at 1.30pm.... had 2 dry runs.... slacked.. talked alot and played our violins in the function room while waiting for our turn... and yes.... changed into our costumes.... no.. wait.. attire is a better word.. so right.. back to the attire... we had to wear formal long sleeve white shirts, formal long black pants, formal black toe covered shoes, and black blazer... (the guys had to wear this maroon coloured tie that reminded me of the old cchms tie...) also ate the free dinner which was kind of pathetic but still edible.... (rice with a chicken fillet, fried egg and cucumbers) drank lemon barley... (not my favourite drink... but i'll still drink it if there's no other drink available...) so... overall.. the concert was great as i got to perform XD... and that it was also a good chance for the strings people to bond and know each other better.... (: anyway... i got to get those videos from angie... yepps... so that's all for now...
ps: thanks natoz and zx (and zx's little bro) for coming all the way from pasir ris to come to watch my concert.... love you guys loads.... let's try to meet up again during December holidays...
