HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

so.. 2008 is coming to an end... and 2009 is only a few hours away... so i shall blog about my new year resolutions... so.. 9 resolutions for the year 2009.... in order of importance....

1) get 3.5 gpa... it's hard... it's bloody difficult... but.... it's possible... yes!!! i can do it!!! :)

2)make sinfonia '09 a success!!!! yes!!! viola!!!

3)read all notes before and after lectures, do tutorials

4)have a good balance between school work and cca

5)practice more piano and viola (master vibrato!!!)

6)sleep earlier

7)go jogging or swimming weekly.. health is wealth!!

8)save 15% of pocket money

9)read more books

hmmm.. can't really think of anything else... but that's all....

hmm.. nothing much today.. just that we changed the hamster's cage bedding.. and it was really smelly..... i shall try not to remember the smell..... and i just realised that no one dared to catch the hamster... because it seemed aggressive and would nibble/bite your fingers if you placed them outside the bars of the cage.... in the end.. we just tricked the hamster to go into its hamster house.... then i covered the entrance of the 'house' and put the house into another container... goodness.. i do miss sparkie... at least he doesn't bite indiscriminately and when he does bite... he has a good reason for doing so... like when you grab him too hard or when you try to cut his nails when they get too long... ps: sparkie is a budgie.. a kind of small parrot...

okay.. i haven't been updating for quite some time due to other more interesting activities on the laptop like watching anime and dramas.... :P

so.. i'm back everybody!!!! because i finished iljimae and kuroshitsuji which is only subbed till ep 10... :(

okay.. christmas this year is like... really... no mood due to the economic downturn and blah blah blah.... got presents from my parents, sisters, mx... and not forgetting natoz and zx!!! (:

hmm... didn't do much this holiday... except go for symphonic orchestra practice.... class chalet.... outing with nat and zx... outings with mx and sister.... staring at my sister's pet hamster.... had a sudden one day trip to melaka (bought alot of food.... and ate at some famous nonya restaurant.... (parents are so obsessed with the little nonya show on channel 8....) and... erm.. i need to eat dinner now... i'll continue another day...

okay.. this is for monday, tuesday, wednesday and today....


MONDAY
erm... dad was on leave.. so went j8... ate ice cream at swensens..... went northpoint to eat the delicious nasi briyani that my uncle and grandma were raving about.... had symphony orchestra practice.... can't remember anything else that happened already....



TUESDAY
went out with zx and natoz!!! went tampines mall... ate pizza hut.. walked around.... watched bolt... haha... bolt is so funny... and i like the cat mittens or something... she is so practical and realistic.... and the hamster rhino is so fat and cute in a retarded kind of way... haha...

so walked around some more.... bought some stuff at ntuc.... then went to grandma's house for dinner because my mum and sisters are there.... ate my grandma's cooking.. i love her cooking!!! (: wish i could cook though... i can only fry eggs and cook instant noodles.... okay.. maybe bake cookies and make pizza from scratch too.... but other than that.. i can't cook any other stuff.... oh.. and damn... i just realised that i forgotten how to cook rice and porridge.... erm... is it 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water? or is it 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water... argh.. this is stupid... i better casually ask my mum about it.. hope she can refresh my memory... okay.. so.. let's continue from where we left off.... erm.. yes.. grandma's house... so we stayed there watching tv.. until my dad came.... he ate dinner too... after that.. we left for home.... yes.... home sweet home... watched tv until 11... was going to sleep.... then.. i saw the new i-weekly..... so went to read it... after like 1 hour i realised that it was 12am in the morning already... so just went to sleep....




WEDNESDAY
helped mum to sweep floor in the morning.... then went to my room and use lappy.. played pet society... saw that riiyaasha was getting smelly and had 2 flies flying around him... and i just laughed..... yes... this is the third time he got so smelly.... but it was just so funny.... hahaha.. okay... i'm sadist i know.. but it's just so funny to see the flies flying around the pet which is by the way.. retarded..... lol... but it's good for passing time.... especially when you have nothing to do... after that.... went to find maps of east coast park so i could find my way to the bbq pit... transferred the map to my phone.... changed to beach friendly clothes.... packed bag... (water bottle, umbrella, phone, wallet) and took bus to parkway to get the marshmallows... after that.. took 135 to some bloody bus stop near vjc.... the rest of the journey on foot was total shit.... the distance looked so small on the map.... i didn't know that i had a 45 minute trek ahead of me..... walked to the underpass..... finally saw the sea.... very happy...

argh!!! really wanted to scream!!!! i wasted $6 on a frigging lousy bike with smelly handbars and the pit is like only a 5 mins walk away.... argh... forget it... so stupid....

at the pit... just hung around... waited for food to be cooked... talked to sam and mich.... went to beach to play with sam and mich.... played with the water... just let it tickle our toes... until one of my slippers got washed away by the current.... argh!!! i swear.. that was the scariest 30seconds in my life.... waiting for the wave to wash the slipper back to shore.... the first 2 waves actually dragged the slipper further out into the sea..... the third one was a big one and it pushed the slipper nearer to the shore.... so i just lunged forward and grabbed it out of the waves... phew!!! close one!!! after that.. me and sam just decided to go bare footed.... to prevent anymore lost slippers... it was fun to walking in the sand without any shoes... but we had to watch out for glass shards.... played for a while more until zs came with 2 chicken wings and tried to tempt us with it..... we tried to wash our sandy feet in the waves.. but it only seemed to get worse.... in the end.. we gave up... just dusted the sand off our slippers and feet... went to the bbq area and used water to wash the sand off... then.. we started eating.... (we also washed our hands... we're clean civilised people okay...) the satay was good... hayden.. where did you order it from... and keith was like putting honey on everything... the hotdogs, the satay, the chicken wings..... woah there.... we don't want to get diabetes.... and keith was also eating hotdogs with chocolate sauce.... that was kindda gross.... yepps... it was a pretty fun bbq... and quite alot of people turned up.... surprising huh? later.. sja came... and we talked a little... ate some more food.. especially the marshmallows.... then.. er.. okay.. i can't remember when i returned my bike... -.-

okay.. so the rest is basically talking and eating and barbecuing the food....

later sja wanted to go for a walk.. so she asked me, joseph and keith to go with her.... it was a very weird walk... because i was tired and grumpy... and i didn't have anything to say to joseph and keith.... went to the 7 eleven because keith wanted to buy drinks.... the floor was slippery.. so me and sja were like pulling each other and trying to slide..... later.. we left 7 eleven empty handed.. because keith didn't find any drinks he wanted to buy.... went to the bowling alley to use the toilet.... walked around the arcade.... left the bowling alley place.... walked back to bbq pit... saw very cute kitty... took a picture... didn't realise that flash light was on.... scared the kitty away... (sorry kitty...)

after that... dad messaged to say that he left the house to fetch me ready.. so left the bbq pit with sja.. (her dad came to pick her up too..) sja waited with me for my dad to come.... (thanks sja!!) so went home... tired.... showered.. dried hair.. watched iljimae and went to sleep....




THURSDAY
cleaned up my room this morning... now my table is cleared of all the notes, books, and other miscellaneous items..... i can finally use the laptop on my table... (:

okay.. so after that.. went out with mx and cy.... went plaza singapura.... shopped for x'mas presents.... got putty a cute bowl and chewing block for her hamster-to-be to use.... ate pizza hut... (again...) bought throat soothies whatever it is called from eu yan sang.. hmm.. seems to be really helping my sore throat... walked around some more.... window shopping is such a thrill... oh oh!!! and guess what i saw? PONYO ON A CLIFF BY THE SEA IS COMING TO SINGAPORE!!!! YES!!! I CAN FINALLY WATCH ONE OF HAYAO MIZAYAKI'S MASTERPIECES ON THE BIG SCREEN!!! XD very happy now... that movie poster has made my day!!!

yes.. common tests are finally over... and really sorry for not updating... i was.. erm.. too preoccupied with the celebrations.... hehe.. so... on friday... we ended the paper at 10am!!! yay!!! so we stayed in school for a while... because kh had to meet miss lye to discuss something about the open house.... so we dilly dallied until around 11.40pm when we finally left school and made our way to northpoint at yishun... ate lunch at the xin wang hong kong cafe.... it was damn nice... miss the mango pudding.... :P

yes... just finished extra practice with mr tan... really tired... but somehow.. i feel a sense of satisfaction.... i love playing in an orchestra!!! mr tan is really funny.. haha.. i like the way he encourages us and puts little bits of interesting facts about the piece and its composer.... it was pretty enjoyable... and haha.. yes... it seems like all conductors like to sing....

anyway... i won't be blogging for until most probably next friday when i finish the last paper..... so... here's the list.... tuesday: orgchem.. wednesday: cell bio.... thursday: microB... friday: ITLS..... yes... i can't wait for the common tests to be over.....

okay... i'm supposed to be doing organic chem report..... but it'll be a quick one.... so... it's the usual 5 hour marathon lecture on tuesday... biostatistics... organic chemistry (no biochem lec... so the orgchem teacher 'stole' the time slot) and microbiology B.... very very tideous.... was practically dead after biostats.... orgchem was worse.... whatever amines... naming of amines... things like.. er.... 2-butylamine.... hope i spelt it right... and reactions of amines... blahs.... drawing benzene rings.... argh.... very horrible....

the last lecture was microB.. and the aircon auto switch off at 1.50pm... and had to go get the extra notes from the teacher to photocopy for the class... so... i sent the notes to the print shop... and told the auntie that i'll collect it after i eat my lunch.... went for lunch with sarah... talked alot... laughed alot too.. and sarah... i do not laugh like a cat... (cats don't even laugh...)

we were both very happy.. and walked out of school...

at the mrt station.... i took out my wallet and was like s***!!! the notes!!! hahaha.. yes.. that was very stupid of me.... so i called the print shop and told the auntie that i'll collect it tomorrow instead.... luckily.. the auntie was one of the nicer aunties.... so she said it's okay... *phew!* so went home.....

when i reached home.... i just peeled off my socks and went to sleep... argh... come to think of it... i shouldn't have done that... it's so icky... but well... i think i was too tired to care.... >.<

yepps.. that's about all for today... and argh.. what happened to the short post?
