well... i was saying... just saying... if i had a hundred dollars... should i spend it on clothes and shoes? or on a limited edition set of 9 hakuouki figurines? damn!!!! the anime figurines are sooo pretty... I WANT THEM!!!! but at the same time.. I DON'T NEED THEM!!!! however.. i feel like I WILL DIE IF I DON'T OWN THEM!!!!

well... was on the train this morning... and sat between two men... one of them stinks!!!! i could smell his breath when he yawned... and he smelt of old sweat and dirt... ewww... horrible... and other other guy...smelt so clean!!!! like he just walked out of the shower... i was like trying to sleep and trying not to breathe in the stink from the smelly man... ended up leaning nearer and nearer to the clean guy... luckily.. the stinky man alighted after a few stops... and this strong perfume lady sat beside me.... argh.. her perfume was so overpowering that it made me want to gag.... ended up leaning closer to the clean guy again... i'm so sorry mr clean guy!!!! :(

work was alright i guess.... and my green beans are growing happily... they have more leaves now!!! yay!!!! hope they don't dry out over the weekends though... ran western blot.. but it doesn't seem to be too good.. oh no!!!! what is the problem now? sigh!!!! surprisingly, no real time pcr this week.... it was more of FACS and western blot...

hahaha.. and there was the macdonalds to madonna joke.. hahaha!!! damn funny!!! :)

yeah.. i don't know what to say... in short, my life for the past week has been like this:

monday - friday: wake up, go attachment, come home, practice piano... watch you're beautiful (again) or catch up on anime/ manga....

saturday - wake up... do piano theory homework (very slowly)... have lunch, piano lessons, continue watching drama/ anime... shower, dinner, watch more drama/ anime.. sleep...

sunday - wake up, breakfast, read newspapers, watch drama/ anime, lunch, watch drama/ anime, shower, dinner, watch drama/anime... sleep...

repeat same thing again and again since i started attachment... okay.. maybe went out with my friends on some days... but basically that's it...

i'm kind of looking forward to school when it starts.... hope i don't die from the 11 modules in semester 2....

and woohoo!!! i think my attachment life is going to be my working life in the future... except maybe more working OT and less drama/ anime.... and yes... when i'm working, i'll buy the dramas and animes!!!! no more sucky quality, broken links, choppy videos, screwed up audio etc!!!!

i am so turning into an otaku....

*thinks for a moment*

okay... i think i am already one... so might as well enjoy it while it lasts... :)

I CAN'T GET OVER THE FACT THAT FMA HAS OFFICIALLY ENDED!!!!

I shall go re-read the ending again.... will need to find time to re-read the whole manga again...

at least i still have the anime... i can officially start crying on 4th july... because that is when fma really ends....

Yes.... all the pipetting is really killing my thumb... the meat i mean... flesh... is feeling really sore.... this sucks... and i looked at the booking sheet for the realtime PCR machine carefully today... and to my horror.... my mentor booked a time slot for every day until the end of next week...

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

that means more pipetting.... more master mixes to prepare... more (mix + short spin) X 2 for all the primers... more primer dilution if any new ones arrive... and argh... NO TALKING when doing/ preparing any PCR stuff....

well... but still... think positive!!! at least it's not the other RT-PCR.... the other RT-PCR is reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction... there is no need to use a 96 well plate... just use the strip tubes (8 small pcr tubes stuck together in a strip form)... but the reagents to add are like... argh.. so many... and must also take them out of -20C freezer and thaw them... and keep on ice... etc.... and after that... just put in into the stupid RT-PCR machine and click the settings and can come back in about 2 hours after it's done.... but the downside is that we need to cast agarose gel to run the samples later.... argh... the horror of ETBR (ethidium bromide)!!!!

after the 2 hours.. just add loading dye... mix... and load the samples into the wells in the agarose gel... then run the gel for 40 mins... the come back and go to the UV lamp there to view/ take picture of the gel... yeah.. that's about it... it's very tedious... much more compared to realtime PCR... so yeah.. i prefer resltime pcr...

well... it was pretty good... caught up with some dearly missed strings friends... RIDWAN!!! THEODORE!!! WEOI MIN!!! WEI XUN!!! ANGELA!!! AND THE EVER CRAZY, HAPPY, JOLINNA!!!! i wish that i could stay out later though.. then i could go join them for supper, talk to them more... :( kind of got to 'explore' vch... i swear the back stage looks like some sort of jail... hahaha...

the performance felt kind of different though.... and i think they over did it with the singing.... it felt like i was at a getai performance at one point of time... they should cut down on the singing... it's too distracting.... i didn't even notice that people are soloing until they sat down and people clapped.... one thing i like is the godzilla eats las vegas.... it's really really funny and entertaning... and i like how the music changes the mood of the whole story... the stage arts people were awesome too!!! godzilla *coughs little green dinosaur coughs* was so cute!!!! maybe they should have a REAL musical someday... with the stage arts people performing and the nypso people playing the music.... (but i seriouly doubt that will ever happen... )

felt kind of sad.... since i wasn't up there performing... oh!!! the excitment!!! the feeling of having your legs turn to jelly when you are cued to go on stage.. trying not to fall while walking there in heels that you are totally not accustomed to... sitting down nervously... trying to discreetly wipe the sweat off your palms (onto your pants)... trying to look at the conductor without looking at the audience (impossible!!!).... the adrenaline rush!!!! >_<

well... it's all a faded memory now... i've 'retired' for now due to attachment...

reached home at like 11pm.... dad was like glaring at me with murderous intent... stayed up until 12plus waiting for this supposedly important sms... well... it will be, and is a waste... just continue moving forward or take a long break... that's my answer for you...
