Yay!! Yay!! Really happy lately!!! Because i finished reading houshin engi online!!!! and yes mx.. i totally agree with you.. the manga is so much better... (just that it is b&w and don't move...) anyways.... i'm here to ramble about anime and manga today!!! yay!!! okay.. firstly.. manga... hmm... they always have better storylines and more interesting plots.. but.. the downside is that.. they are in black and white (most of the time) and the pictures don't move at all... so it's really up to you to imagine the fighting sequences, etc... yepps... but... the anime itself.. is in colour!!! and the pictures move.. hahaha.. okay.. sounds so stupid.. but it's a true fact.. >.<
so.... now here's the debate... which is better? manga or anime? in my opinion... both have their pros and cons.. but it is really up to the readers/ watchers of manga/ anime to decide... because in the case of houshin engi... the anime screwed up the whole storyline.. but... i'm glad there is an anime because it allows me to watch the characters in action.. eg: suupushan flying around, taikoubou acting like an idiot.. etc... yeah.. so i think... the manga first captures the audience.. then, the anime comes along to con them to watch their favourite characters in action.. and then, they start selling figurines and other crap things to get our money... huh huh... really cunning businessmen.. in the end.. it's just for our money..... okay.. i have decided that.. both are the same... because they are both after our money... haha.. come to think of it... I've been conned... when i look at my collection of anime soundtrack... i start to wonder.. why did i buy this? i don't listen to it anymore.... (okay.. maybe i was obsessively listening to it for one month before getting crazy over another anime...) well.. looks like.. anime and manga are evil.. but who cares... i seem to enjoy them.... (:
